Activities in the Cité

Various activities are organized at the City by The Residents' Association

The Residents' Association (RA) is a corporative association. Its goal is to promote the interests of the residents of the Cité; if needed, to take useful initiatives; and to represent them in front of the organs of the Cité Foundation, of the Cité Administration and any other body. Each student benefiting from a resident contract becomes a member of the RA. The Bureau of Cité Residents the Bureau of Cité Residents Association runs social, cultural and sport activities under the supervision of the Cité administration.

Community Center : Arcade 46

The Community Center is run by a committee of residents and is available to them for organizing parties. The Arcade committee is also elected annually by all the residents and is in charge of animation and parties.

 


A photo lab: Club photo-lab of the Cité

To develop silver black and white films, a photo lab was built in March 2009.
It Is available to residents and students (annual membership needed). It is managed in partnership with the Cultural Activities of the University of Geneva.

Cinema: the Cité Film-Club

BARC members are in charge of the Cité Film-Club programme. Screenings are free for residents.

Half of the entry price will be refunded to the residents upon presentation of the original ticket at the Reception. Learn more
