Condom vending-machine
Machines can be found in building A (ground floor), building B (6th floor) and building C (ground floor).

Day care center
Under certain conditions, a day-care center in Champel offers their services for residents' and students' children.
Charges vary according to the parents' income.
Only children from 2 months to 3 years old are accepted.

Mail

Your mail will be slipped into your mailbox every morning except on weekends.

To avoid confusion during distribution, it is essential that your address be fully written, according to the template you can find in the Cité's Regulations and rental procedures.

In case of absence (internship, vacation, etc.) you can ask for your mail to be kept at the Cité (maximum 2 months).

For any change of address or mail forwarding, you should contact the Post Office on www.poste.ch/service-demenagement, or by calling number (0848) 33-22-11. This is only available to residents, not short-term guests.

Short-term guests: next to your mailing address should be written HP (for "Hôtes de Passage") as well as the dates of your stay on any mail that you should receive.
Lockers
Available for rent in the lobby (different sizes). Information at the Reception.
Room hire

A meeting room with kitchenette (B4.33) can be rented to groups (maximum 25 people).

A piano and music room (A01.00) is also available. Rules of usage.

The Conference room (B 7.0) has a capacity of 20 people, has audiovisual equipment and a kitchen.

Room A11.00 is also available for small-sized parties (no kitchen, only a sink and a fridge).

In Buildings A and B you can find study (A13.00 and B5.33) and television (A07.00 and B6.33) rooms and a large community space in building B, ground floor.

The pool hall (B3.33) is run by the ARC (see display cases at the foot of the buildings).
The use of these rooms requires a reservation at the Reception.
Laundry/Bedding
You can change your sheets and towels every two weeks, according to the schedules that are on display on your floor. The laundry room where you can change your bedding is located on the lower-ground floor of buildings A and C.

There is a Wi-Fi area in the cafeteria (MONZOON Network), available in accordance with the established rates.

Wi-Fi access is also provided in the rooms with the EDIFICOM network, at the price of CHF 1.30 per night and per room.

Another Wi-Fi area exists in the lobby (I.spot), available in accordance with the established rates.
Film-Club
Every year, around 8 cinema screenings are organized by the Resident's Association. Notices will be posted in the elevators to announce screenings.
Welcome parties and entertainement
Shortly after the beginning of the term, the Cité organizes a great welcome party, with buffet and show.
It is an opportunity for new and old residents as well as the Cité's staff to meet.
The Resident's Association also organizes parties on a regular base.
Community center

The "Arcade 46" is a community center run by the Resident's Association.

Free access for residents.

Access is forbidden to any student younger than 18 years.

The center is opened Fridays and Saturdays, please refer to the Association's announcements.
Cité Bleue
Within the walls of the Cité Universitaire, the Cité Bleue Theatre presents various productions throughout the year.
As a resident, you can get a 50% discount by presenting your ticket at the Reception.
Photo-lab

A photo-lab is installed in the basement of Building C, down here, you can develop your silver black and white films.

It is run in partnership with the Cultural Activities of the University of Geneva.

2 sports grounds with tennis courts, volleyball and basketball fields, as well as 2 ping pong tables are available for residents.
Bikes
You can get a key for the bike garages located in the basements of buildings A and B and on the ground floor of building C. Other locations outdoors are available. Illegally parked bicycles will be towed away.
